My Participation in Google Code In

Introduction to Google code in:

Google code in a Open source contest organised by google in which students work on open source tasks .

Every year different open source organisation participate in Google code in and students complete tasks of these organisations .

How I found Google code in:

I found about google code in from my friend which on sololearn app. My friend name who told me about this contest is Ashutosh Agrawal . One day he message me and then he told me about google code in . That time I was not interested in it . But when I read more about google code in then I come to know that it is a very excellent and interesting contest to learn about open source organisation and their projects .

My journey with fossasia :

On 3 December I participate in Google code in and that time I can’t find any organisation from which I can learn something more . In the starting I firstly complete 2 tasks of jbose community then I move to a organisation names openWisp . I complete 3 tasks of this organisation and then I move on fedro project organisation I complete 5 tasks of fedro projects then i move on liquid galaxy organisation and I completed 10tasks of liquid galaxy organisation . But I want something interesting and full of knowledge and then I meet a grand winner of 2018 Sahil saha . He told me about fossasia and then I start contributing to fossasia . Fossasia is the best organisation that I want for my Google code in contest . I was so late when I come to know about fossasia but fossasia give me much information about git and GitHub . Before the contribution to the this org I don’t know about atleast g of the git and GitHub šŸ˜…. But currently I can do the basics of it . I am always thankful to fossasia for this .

Fossasia creation:

Susi : https://github.com/fossasia/susi_android

Pslab:https://github.com/fossasia/pslab-android

Neuro lab: https://github.com/fossasia/neurolab-android

Pslab desktop :https://github.com/fossasia/pslab-desktop

These are the following fossasia creation that i test during my tasks . You can fork the respiratory and star it to follow .

Open source apps that’s I have installed :

Currently I have installed pslab and neurolab open apps that are developed by fossasia . You can find them on the play store the link of these apps can be found on the the GitHub respiratory .

Get in touch with the organisation :

Well i use star the respiratory of fossasia . I have also follow fossasia on Instagram , Facebook and on twitter and on every social media app that I use . In Google code in I have joined the gitter channel of the fossasia . I can ask for help and I can help other people on the gitter channel .

Technology that I wanted to be added in the fossasia :

Well I am interested in web development and I wanted to become a full stack web developer in future so I want that from fossasia to added more to the web development . Also there are most projects about solving issue on fossasia on GitHub or gitlab . There is nothing to create something like creating a web page or something else .

Technologies and skills in which I am instrested :

I am interested in making some cool projects web projects and I want to increase my skills to test any apps or websites .

Brief introduction to the fossasia projects :

Projects of fossasia :

Susi App: The main feature of the app is to provide a conversational interface to provide intelligent answers using the AskSusi infrastructure. The app also offers login functionalities to connect to other services and store personal data. Additionally, the application uses data provided by the user’s phone to improve Susi answers. Geolocation information, for example, helps to offer better answers related to questions about “things nearby”. Look at this :https://github.com/fossasia/susi_android

Pslab App: This repository holds the Android App for performing experiments with PSLab . PSLab is a tiny pocket science lab that provides an array of equipment for doing science and engineering experiments. It can function like an oscilloscope, waveform generator, frequency counter, programmable voltage and current source and also as a data logger. Look at this :https://github.com/fossasia/pslab-android

NeuroLab App:This repository in the below holds the Android app for the Neurolab Hardware. Fossasia is developing a neuro-device as a headband with integrated electronics. The goal of the Neurolab project is to create an easy to use open hardware measurement headset device for brain waves that can be plugged into an Android smartphone and a software application and enables us to understand our brains better. So why are waiting become a member of fossasia and support them . Its great open source organisation for students . If I participate in Google summer of code then I try it with fossasia šŸ˜.
